I deleted MSFS2020 and paid Microsoft for MSFS2024 via Paypal. The payment is confirmed but I have received nothing from Microsoft re the installation process. Where do I go and should there be some sort of code to enter?
I have nothing from MS at all.

I have same problem. I think it has not been released yet at least in my area, now 6 hours after the scheduled time. Download instructions are hard to find. I’m on a PC. I started in flightsimulator.com (here). Clicking on a link to MS Store, I can see “Install To - You Own This” since I paid for it weeks ago. But clicking on that gives you no clue as to how to download it. After some searching I found that you need to run the MS Store app. Open the MS Store app, then click on Gaming to find all games you can currently access. BUT MS 2024 IS NOT LISTED AT THIS TIME. Hopefully it will appear soon!
That makes sense CaliFlier, but my payment was not even acknowledged by Microsoft. Happy to take the money, but no follow up.
Anything in the Xbox app?
I have nothing from MS to enter in the XBox app and nothing there that I can see.
Should be automatic if you are logged in with same user account right? I have no idea what exact product purchase you made, but in the MS store under your library you might see what you bought.
Don’t stress it, you won’t be playing today anyway. Servers are overloaded.

I purchased directly from MS but nothing showing in the library.
Will just cancel with PayPal if I don’t hear back from MS - not holding my breath!

It will be available to download in your MS Store account.
I seem to have multiple MS accounts and was looking in the wrong one, so please check all your MS accounts.
