How Do I Map Setting Increment Choices on HOTAS?

Hi All!

Running MSFS 2024, VKB Gladiator NXT with Thrustmaster TWCS throttle. When changing altitude increments with scroll wheels, it goes by thousands when I want hundreds. I bet similar increment issues are with other settings too.

I know that I am supposed to be able to do ALT-mouse scroll wheel for similar accuracy - but that doesn’t mix with my setup wishes (I can’t do ALT+ hotas scroll wheel for example).

I can’t find a keymap option to choose between increment options in the MSFS settings.

How are others doing this kind of thing? I’m running a VR setup, so the less I have to look at the keyboard or use my VR controllers, the better.

I have my VKB FSM-GS using the right knob to set my altitude.
It changes the altitude by 1000s.

I don’t know how to map a control for 100s.

So now:
I scroll it up to an even 1000.
Right click the ALT knob on the cockpit.
Scroll up or down in 100s.

Maybe someone does know how to change from 1000s to 100s.

When you say “right click on the alt knob…”, do you mean mouse button right click (and are you holding that down?)? And when you scroll up or down, are you talking about your VKB knob?

Heheh. Once the mouse is involved, ya might as well use the mouse’s scroll wheel! :slight_smile:
