How do I remove peripheral drivers from MSFS?

I purchased a Winwing Orion 2 F-16 Viper Joystick Combo,JGRIP-F16&J2-2-BASE. But instead of just installing the drivers for that combo somehow MSFS installed six different versions. I want to get rid of the other versions and only keep the one that is for my combo but need to know where they are stored. I went on line but it kept telling me that the drivers are stored “in the cloud” which makes no sense to me. Can someone help me? Thanks in advance…

Do you mean in the Controls Option section, there are 6 different profiles showing?
If so, select a profile you want to get rid of.
Now look at the bottom of the screen for Manage Profiles.
Open that and select Delete Profile.
Remember to click Save.
Then move on to another Profile you don’t want & do the same.

  • It might say Remove Profile…I’m away from msfs right now… :frowning:

Thanks, I will try that. Appreciate your time to answer. Be safe!

I tried to do what you suggested but everything except the “duplicate” and the “add” button are “greyed out” so I cannot remove the extra profiles. Any other suggestions? Do you think something is “locked”. Thanks for your help so far.

Unplug the winring and check if this is still the issue ( greyed out ) with other things, like keyboard mouse. Maybe plug the Thrustmaster back in and check it too.

But it may be something specific to the Winring Orion.
I did a quick search in this forum but couldn’t find anything on this joystick, but there may be others using it here.

Maybe change your header to say Need help with a Winwing joystick setup.

Do they have a support site or user manuals?
I found these:
wwsimstore & this faq
It may need special install or windows install to work correctly.

You may need to seek help and search outside of msfs.

I took your advice and removed the unit and all was good but as soon as I plugged it in it gave me 3 instances of the device. I am writing to WinWing with the hopes they can tell me what to do. Thanks again for your helpful replies.

So I found out that I needed to download this software…https://wwsimstore.com/view/simapppro.html and then the correct number of peripherals showed up in MSFS. YEA! So now I am on a quest to get the throttle on my WinWing collective working correctly in MSFS. Long journey…but I hope the end is in sight…
