By Vote do you mean setting up a poll or the vote function that is found in #self-service:wishlist and #self-service:bugs-issues?

Only posts in certain forums can have Voting buttons I believe. If you have a bug you want up-voted, post in the Bugs forum. Wishes - in the Wishlist forum.
