How do I update the Addons Linker version without losing my current data?

I cannot find documentation/video on this.

The required config files are stored in another place on your computer. Somewhere in %appdata% I think.

You can simply replace the existing files with the update. Or, just copy the new files over the old files.

This seems logical but a pity that there is no documentation :roll_eyes:

Installation

  • just unzip all the files in a folder of your choice. Run the EXE file to start the program.
  • for updates, make sure you delete all the existing files before replacing with the new ones.
  • updating will keep your settings because they are store elsewhere (settings are stored in the ‘c:\programdata\msfs addons linker’ folder)
