I can’t seem to figure out how to shut off the F-18 engines when I park the plane. l looked at some DCS World tutorials and theoretically, if you move the throttle all the way back in the F-18 in DCS World, it will shut off the engines.
But that doesn’t seem to work in MSFS. So how do you shut off the F-18 engines in MSFS?
I was confused by this initially. There is a delay after issuing shutdown (Shift-Ctl-E) before the engines respond. I have tested this on 3 flights and after issuing just a single Shift-Ctl-E, both engines shut down after about 20-30 seconds.
Yup it so good, I started the F/A 18 cold and dark, didnt touch a single control and guess what apon walkaround of plane cold and dark mind you there was exhaust comming out of the exhaust nozzels in the back…
