How does fs2020 takes into account the flying hours?

For more than 2 weeks the flying hours that i have are 35

Any other with this problem?

There are two counters… Single Pilot Profile and Total Flight Time. If you switch the game to Multiplayer, your SP profile gets stuck with zero hours added. When I unlocked Wing Commander, the achievement required 1000 hours of SP profile but my total flight time indicated 1010 hours. This is because I only played for 10 hours in MP mode.

not well !
it should always calculate blocks time if one starts from cold&dark cockpit at a parking/gate.
Not everybody does that, i conceive it, not everybody uses the sim/game, the same way…fair enough
Then, it should be an “option” in realism settings.
You just want to fly, have fun, it’s a “game” ?! you want to unlock achievements ? then, like it does now, loging only in air hours, is more than ok.
If you’re hardcore simmer, or want to learn/know the real stuff, then it should be blocks time, nothing else.
And that by ticking On or Off a “realistic” logbook or a “gaming” logbook, in settings.
No?! what do you think?

The flying hours stops counting as long as you have developer mode enabled. Disable it, restart fs2020, and your hours and logbook entries will begin working again.

Same bug for me ! Steam tells me I’ve played 39H, and fs2020 … 11H flight.
For instance, today, I spent 2 hours making “touch and go” and … 0h40 in flight
WTF !?

I asked myself the same question and I found this discussion that is almost 4 years old, but I have the answer: the logbook time starts counting when the aircraft wheels leave the ground and stops when the wheels touch the ground when landing.
I realized this when flying just a single pattern and saw a flight time of 5 minutes and 14 seconds. Flying a pattern in such a short time was looking impossible. So I did it again with a chronometer that I started when leaving the ground upon takeoff and stopped it when touching down. The duration was 5’52, exactly the time shown in the logbook.
IRL flight time starts and stops with the engine running, it is a very different story, especially when you pay by the minute
