Same for me. Beyond frustrating. Started 2020 and everything worked flawless.
Low bandwith, infinite loading times, freezes and crashesā¦ on SeriesX, 300mbit wired connection!

Iām still getting VERY blurry ground textures, long loading times when starting a free flight, and low bandwidth warnings. Itās taking 20 to 30 minutes from starting a flight till the plane appears on the runway.
I have 1Gbit fiber thatās running 800- 900 consistently, and a VPN. Maryland, USA.

Interesting review of MSFS 2024 today on Youtube by a US pilot, who was invited by MS to try it prior to launch (so no server issues at that time).

Been trying for days on series x and series s. If I even get past the loading screen then it never loads the next one. Career freeflight. Nothing working. Tried reinstall 3 times. Tried deleting profile from Xbox cloud. Nothing working. It still seems to be a bandwidth and server problem. Iāve tried monitoring it on the network, Iām an IT guy, at times I get data from servers at full capacity of my internet. And then it stops suddenly. This happens at random points during loading and when selecting something on the menu.

That was my initial experience as well. A post here on the Forums said to close out Riva Tuner and other background programs that āhookā the sim code.
That worked immediately for me. Tried enabling again and the symptoms came back.

For me itās also the second loading screen of the mission which does make any progress today.

why is my game taking more than 25 minutes to launch?
When launched it run ok-ish (ok for my low end pc) but the launching time is insanely long (itās on the loading menu loading language, simobject, etc.)
Only time launching took an unreasonable amount of time for me was during the day-1 shenanigans.
How many times has this happened? How potato-ish is your machine? How is your internet? Did you by chance have dozens-to-hundreds of marketplace items installed with 2020?

The minimum CPU spec for 2024 is i7-6800k. Youāre under it

Very frustrating today after some promise and flights yesterday. Today i am currently on my 12th CTD in 4 hours mainly from the menu screens and 1 in flight, it is getting very frustrating i am trying to stick with it but not sure how much patience i have left and i really do not want to go back to 2020 but at least there is some enjoyment there. Sad times.

FWIW, the minimum spec CPU runs 2024 quite well. I am sure you can go below it.
Loading times are fine now in Germany. Blatant bugs everywhere. VR in WMR is a hit and miss. Pilot training is bugged. Career as well. I was no 1 in the challenge league for a while, so hey all great!
Not really. I was promised all planes updated to 2024, but all C172 variants are bugged in various ways. Some other planes canāt be entered or left. The callsign getās reset all the time.
Finally, I would like to scale the UI font a further 50% down. I am a meter away from a 34 inch screen. I can read those texts from next room
