I am using AxisAndOhs to manage my controlls. This is much easier to modify and copy to other planes. If you get used to it, you could also access funktions in planes they are not covered by the default MS settings.
You might have a look at this add-on. There is a MSFS2024 specific verion, that does run properly as far as I can judge.
I was even able to copy and past my settings from 2020 over this way I did not had to remap everything again.
