I have made it to 71 hours flying. But steam says I have had the game open for 427.9 hours ![]()
I need to spend more time flying than planning and trawling this form ![]()

Well I have almost 2.000 hours but many hours disappear, I remember that I lost more than 1500 hours with update… well I don’t care about hours, normally I just fly 500 and until 6000 NM in just 1 day
Made it, currently at 5069.
The real question is how many hours in the sim actually flying…. Not turning on the autopilot and letting the plane fly itself for 10 hours each day….
For me, just over 2200 hours, less than 500 using autopilot…
I’ve lost my log data so many times I have no clue how many hours I’ve flown. ![]()
More then 1000 hours for the moment.
Just hit 2,500, hoping for 3,000 before MSFS2024.
On another unrelated, by related note. Was having a DM conversation with someone about Virtual Airlines and he had commented on the history of the one I fly for and how long it’s been running and I shared an interesting stat with him.
VA Has been in operation since 1998 (26 years and counting)
The highest hours flown by a single member is currently at 34,042.4 flight hours
He has been an active member since October 21st, 2000 (coming up on 24 year anniversary)
That means, he has been a member for 8,713 days for an average flight time of 3.9 hours a day for the past 24 years.
Talk about dedication!
Over 500 hours. Which is some indication of what I think of this sim. GOAT!
According to Steam 3,836 but my log in the sim only shows 798 because a lot of us had our log book disappear for some unknown reason.
Very nearly the same, 8 hours to go…
Steam also shows how long the sim has been running, not how long you have actually been in the air, which is what the sim logbook shows you, so there will be more discrepancy because of that.
I used the sim 120 hours, in four years, which I only have flown 25, the other 95 hours where crashing, downloading, updating, uninstalling, reinstalling and configuring the flightsim, I wonder if I ever will be able to use it again if after the new 2024 is realeased the 2020 won’t be able anymore, by now I don’t have it installed in my system because the last time I had to reinstall it tooked 14 hours
I know I’ve been in attendance for every logged hour.
So far, 2600 plus about 60 lost in the early days when they all vanished for a week or two, never to be seen again!
Not that it really matters! ![]()
2200hrs as of this morning. Plus the 2 months of flying that it didn’t log anything with the log file being filled up.
Just a thought, does anyone know if the hours will continue to FS2024?
They said no in the dev stream. It was one of the questions. No logbook moving over.
