How to autosync Steam Screenshots to iCloud Photos

Hi,

Is there a way, so that when f12 is pressed during the game while playing with Steam, that the photo that is taken can be directly imported into my iPhone photo library or better yet a flight
Simulator album on my iPhone?

Iv tried directing the screenshots to go into ICloud photos using the screenshot settings in Steam, but for some reason It includes the thumbnail version which is extremely grainy, along with the high quality version, which is a bit annoying. Also, this seems to work very intermittently, so I’m not sure I have the “send screenshots to” path correct. Iv soecifically located the address and folder that Steam sends the photos in and also dropped that in iCloud photos, but again, sometimes it uploads, sometimes it doesn’t. So I need help on 1) what path to send the photos to in Steam settings, and where to place the screenshot folder in. Any advise or guides? Thanks.

This might be a bit of an extreme option, but I use a special capture tool called ShareX.

It is free and lets you capture GIFs and images, and it allows you to capture an entire region or screen or a custom snippet. You can then configure it after capture to copy the image to your clip board, save it to your PC, or upload it to a variety of cloud providers.

Thanks, I’ve just tried that and it works, does require a bit of extra steps though, was wondering if someone knew more of a direct method? Otherwise will have to deal with the extra steps.

I’m not a iCloud user, but maybe you can try using Symlinks or Symbolic links?

I use this method to keep copies of documents in multiple cloud storage in synced.
