Hi fellow fake pilots,
I have spent a long time setting up the controls in the sim to make it work with all my hardware. Now I need to find a way to backup my assignments so that I don’t have to go through all of that again, especially if I’m forced to reinstall the sim for whatever reason.
Cheers,
Mo
It’s my understanding all such settings are Saved to the cloud

Oh really? It wasn’t the case during the BETA, I had to reassign everything each time. Perhaps that’s different since the release. Has anyone experienced this already, whom can confirm that this is the case?
After the update, I lost all my keyboard and joystick bindings. Everything reverted to default. If my bindings are stored in the cloud, can someone please explain how I get them back?

Well that’s concerning, thank you for your input. Hopefully we will find a solution!
I installed FS onto a completely new machine and all my control settings appeared like magic so yes, for me it works like a charm. The only issue I have and I’m told it’s being look into, is you can’t have different settings per machine… which is crazy!
So, I had to reinstall MSFS2020, but before I did that, I took screenshots of every screen in the controls page, so that I can remiind myself of how I had it setup.
Anyway, I deleted everything and reinsatlled the sim. First thing I did was check the controls page, and to my surprise, everything was as it was. So @OnCourse2013 and @paulanergraz were both right, contrary to what experiences others had.
