Hi by default ATC is reading altimeter and is it possible to set the ATC to read QNH unit ?
Yes, depending on which aircraft your using determines where you can switch it. Typically the knob that changes the barometer, the same knob will change the way it reads. The switch to change it should be directly underneath/behind the knob.
No this is still not possible.
The C152 has both read outs on the Altimeter!
What’s hilarious to me is that there was a thread discussing this upcoming change some days ago, and I posted something to the effect of “Watch this. They’re going to put in all this effort to allow people to switch to metric, but ATC will continue using Imperial units rendering the whole change useless”. I was jumped on by apolegists and my post flagged and eventually removed.
And here we are now with the new update…
