I´m with msfs-2024 and have been a happy user of FSLTL. Now I am trying to use the MSFS default traffic with the FSLTL liveries so that sim would pick up just those liveries from my community folder. I seems to do that but uses also those default factory liveries. How can I get rid of them?
The only way would be to disable the passive aircraft families from your library - which is blocked. With that there is no way to get completely rid of MSFS default aircraft getting mixed in live traffic.
There are only two ways to not see them:
- Going for a Navigraph Ultimate subscription to restore FSLTLs complete functionality (if you think it’s worth your money to just pay monthly for this)
- Going with AIG as a freeware if you just want realistic traffic that’s not 100% reflecting what’s currently flying around (assuming the Traffic Controller for offline injection is used too)
Also you can just install the AIG aircraft packages instead of the FSLTL base pack now. This will add even more aircraft types and liveries in and with this allows the sim to choose from more files for live traffic matching. For example: FSLTL doesn’t include a Boeing 737 Max, AIG does on the other hand - the chances with this are higher that a 737 Max will be matched with the AIG provided model instead of falling back to an Asobo passive 737 Max with it’s generic (manufacturer) livery.
In any case however you will see mismatches on live traffic especially with a growing library of aircraft.
I hope that helps!
Thanks for your help.
It seems to be just as I was afraid of, no easy and perfect solution which would be free. I know, that was asking a lot!
You’re welcome. You may want to give AIG with the default live traffic a try - more base aircraft and liveries make less house liveries appear at least. The perfect solution doesn’t exist anyway ![]()
