We were promised per plane settings, which we seem to have so far.
However I can see no way to disable my Honeycomb Yoke on the Airbus or my flight stick on the Cessna. It’s kind of mission critical!
Has anyone found a way to do this, or a workaround?
EDIT:
I think this might work - assigning None or Clear configs
So the device is there, but with zero bindings. A bit quirky - a disable controller option for a plane, that greyed the configs, would be simpler.
Pull up the controller you wish to delete. Hover over the elevator and aileron settings. Press backspace to delete. Exit out the menu, then save and exit. Save under the profile for your newly named aircraft (change default–My aircraft profile).
That would fix the control services, but the Honeycomb has a lot of buttons and switches for master alt+ bat, avionics bus 1+2, lighting and Off R L Both Start switch, trim and hat controls.
To safety avoid any clashes they all need to be disabled; I’ve heard the the Honeycomb can send repeated command events…
FYI: The Blank general, None, None configs do disable the Honeycomb completely.
I’d prefer a simple Disable Controller check box though, which would be cleaner and intuitive.
