How to Draw in Navigraph Charts

I’d like to draw my taxi route on the Navigraph airport moving chart, but I can’t figure out how to use a program like Paint so I can use a marker or pen to draw in the Navigraph charts window. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Not yet possible…

Thanks for your quick reply. I hope this feature does show up on the next update, but I asked because I saw someone on YouTube using what appears to be Windows Paint to draw on Navigraph charts. Here is a link to the YouTube video (look around the 3:30 mark): Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 - How To Taxi The Basics - Navigraphs And Moving Map Tutorial - YouTube

There are some tools to draw anything on your desktop. As long as you dont move the ChartsApp window, it should work.

What the guy in the video uses is paint. So you can export the chart and open it in paint or any other image editor basically, if you want. But you`ll miss the tracking feature then.

Thanks a lot. Without the tracking feature this makes no sense, so I’ll wait for it to show up in an update. Thanks again for your feedback. Have a great day.

Hi im a year late to the party but if you have volanta premium you can paint on the airports and most of the airports at least the international ones does, OTHH, OMDB, LFPG, ZSPD, VHHH, RTAA, RTJJ, WSSS, EGLL, EHAM, KJFK, KNEW, KLAX, WIII and many many2 more have all well written taxiway and you can draw on the taxiway. would love it if navigrah charts has it as well tho

Hmm… Considering this thread on the Navigraph forum stating this could be a feature in the next version of charts was 2 years back, I’m guessing this isn’t a feature coming any time soon.

Wouldn’t count it out. Next version is currently in beta with more features being added regularly

It would be nice. I know they’re adding VFR charts to the next version, which will be nice. Hopefully the ability to draw a taxi route on the 10-9 will be a reality in the future. I just recently started using Navigraph natively on my iPad (vs on a computer screen) and this would be a great feature.

But I know they have a lot of other stuff in the works, so I’m not counting on it any time soon.

use gInk
