How to get 787

Hey,
I just wanted to ask if anyone knows how I can get the 787 for an affordable price or even free?

Affordable is a very subjective term, but so far as i know the only way to have it is to have the appropriate version of msfs. It is not, to my knowledge , available separately

For now, there is no way to get the 787 separately from the Premium Deluxe Upgrade. I haven’t even heard of any illegal ways of doing it.

There is hope though as third party developers are creating a freeware version of all three 787 variants. No estimated release date though.

Are you asking for a way to get the Asobo 787 without paying for the Premium Deluxe version of the game?

I am pretty sure (would hope) that @D3RL0V3RB0Y isn’t asking for any tips on piracy here, which is strictly against forum rules.

I’m sure he would agree with you…

I just thought there is maybe a way of getting that plane if you upgrade the MSFS version. Since I bought the standard edition I don’t wanna pay 80€ just to have that plane. I mean that price is like the whole game again. That’s why I am asking if Microsoft does have any “deal” in which you can get the plane for like 20€ or so like the B737 Max.

You cannot pay for just a single Premium or Premium Deluxe Edition plane, but you CAN pay to upgrade your standard edition MSFS to Premium or Premium deluxe. Despite being sexy, the default 787 is a bit of a mess anyway, so unless you’re head over heels in love with 787s, it might be worth the money to you. But maybe it is!

its only 60$ or 49 eur to upgrade from the standard (which im assuming you have) version to premium deluxe. think of it as $20 for the 787 and $40 for the other 9 aircraft collectively. Asobo has little incentive to sell features piecemeal

Yes which is ridiculous, basically manipulating your suporters into buying the game again just so they can have that plane. they simply dont offer any humane deal because they prefer you spending more instead of less money, despite the fact that we already paid for the game. Look at Hello Games they have been thriving on their community by overdelivering on content not asking for a cent because they know their playercount will only increase the more they give to their community

I think upgrade is a bit of a misnomer, you cannot upgrade from one version of MSFS to you more like buying a new copy! Silly thing that MS does not really allow you to upgrade their products!

Well, as a matter of fact, I think the sale might be ending tonight, but there has been a 35% discount on upgrading.
