HOW TO get refund for Carenado Piper Arrow on Xbox - NOT functional

Hi everyone,

I just saw this post (in the PC section) that seems to depict the same issue I have on Xbox. I simply cannot use this plane - the two topmost instruments are not there.

I wrote to Carenado but they only sent me a survey on how satisfied I am… I am not and want to be refund. How does this work? The standard way through account.microsoft.com simply does not work.

THANKS for your help.

PS : It’s not for the amount of money - I just do not want to encourage a company that simply does not care.
PPS : There is also this post.

Hi Melvin, I purchased this plane at the weekend also and came across the same issues. I almost cried.
After viewing the planes cockpit from my hanger, I noticed that it corrupts the world map with little white pixilated squares when you zoom out. I confirmed this goes away after uninstalling the plane. I tested this three times with reinstallations and same result. It only corrupts the world map after going inside the cockpit. Can you test this also.
I am going to log a call also but I need time to take screen shots and what not. So time consuming.
Let’s not forget, these are the guys who are making the next local legend plane.

Turn on TABLET (click in the middle of yoke on piper logo). Then click NEXT button on this tablet (right bottom corner) then turn off GTN 750 option.

The plane is really fun to flight. Enjoy.

Nice one, will test and report back.

This is an issue because the Piper defaults to the GTN750 which is not available on Xbox. It has to be changed via the tablet to use the default GNS. At least this still works. Till Carenado also updates the Piper with their new tablet tech and ■■■■ up the plane completely in the process.

Awesome. You guys are the ■■■■■■■ best.
Still getting them white squares but only when no flight plan is chosen.
Was just about over my SuperBowl jetlag and now this will have me up half the night. Thanks again.

I enjoy this plane a lot (except for the odd autopilot) but hope in a future update they will be able to detect the lack of GTN750 installed (like EMB-110 does) and default to standard for xbox because it’s annoying to change it manually every time.
If they update the Piper I am making sure I do NOT get the update (I assume I have to chose to update) for fear they implement the tablet-in-pouch “feature” which doesn’t work on xbox. The tablet doesn’t work on Waco and 170b but not an issue there for me.

Hi @LEEis3371195 , I’m on Xbox - so I do not think it would be applicable - but I’ll keep an eye opened just in case!

Good luck with your white waypoints… :expressionless:

No way!! Wow… I didn’t even bother turning that thing on…

But yes - it should default to the “most accessible” option (Xbox-bound, for now at least).

Thank you @YBAXPL !!

I personally love the vintage stuff (so the weird autopilot will probably be a fit).

…yeah… you guessed it. I’m 50!

Xbox user also. You’ll love the sound of it.

I do not have the white map issue, though.
