I did not additional buy scenery or airplanes yet, but I’m interested. Due to the fact I also have XPlane 11 it might be useful to buy directly at (lets say ORBX). But I did not find an FAQ answer how it works so far.
How do purchases I made in ORBX for MSFS2020 get into my MSFS2020 installation? Is there a key or something. Do I have to install them manually?
For Orbx you use their download manager, Orbx Central, and it handles the installation for you.
For others, like SimMarket, I don’t know as I haven’t purchased anything from them for MSFS yet.
I use Orbx Central, just like before. 3 titles, no issues.
I purchased Orbx LOWI via the marketplace within the game and later had to delete it (for whatever reason)- now it won’t let me reinstall it albeit the marketplace tells me I own it…any clues please
It should show up in your content folder.. Just download it again..
Profile- Content manager
It is in the content folder but I can’t see anyway to install it
Are you selecting the Content Manager in game? Main screen once the game is loaded, then select profile top left, Content Manager when new screen opens. Unless you bought it direct from Orbx where you would have to download Orbx Central which is a utility that installs your purchases directly.
Orbx Central is great… I avoid the marketplace for now.
Tried your suggestion with no luck - where it should say ‘download available’ it says ‘up to date’ with no download button.
