It depends on if you are in “Legacy” interaction mode or “Lock” interaction mode.
In “Legacy”, you will see an “up arrow” if you hover near the top of the knob and a “down arrow” if you hover near the bottom of the knob. “Up” is push, “Down” is pull.
Lock mode requires some additional button/finger gymnastics.
