How to release the controls on the DC-6?

My yoke does not respond. Where is the lever to release the controls in the DC-6?

The large red lever on your right side, left on the pedestal. It’s called the gust lock

When you move the gust lock, note the throttle stops on #2 and #3. It’s easy to glance over at the throttles if you aren’t sure of gust lock state instead of look all the way down at the lock mechanism. In real life you probably verify it all…
