How to set Approach? A320

I hope this isnt a stupid question, but how do I setup autopilot for an approach?

In FSX I could use the GPS tool to load the relevant approach. Am I missing something?

Example:

This is what I would do in FSX:

Look up on youtube how to use the MCDU in an airbus and also how to setup an ILS approach on an airbus. It’s not necessarily an easy thing to type out.

I see. I was looking for some generic way like in the previous Flight Sims.

Looks like I need to learn the specifics for each plane. Im not complaining but that MCDU isnt very intuative.

I heard there are airplanes in roblox and GTA, maybe you should give those a try if you want a more intuitive experience

Ouch. I think I struck a nerve.

Sorry, but the MCDU feels like a Scientific Calculator with a few missing buttons. I dont know how much of that is the Sim, or the actual device itself as I am not a real life pilot and the A320/MCDU is new to me.

All I wanted to do in this instance was select an alternative approach into LEIB due to the Sim crashing and ATC instructing me to a different approach that was already programmed.

Its ok. I will learn it. Thanks to Filonczester1 for pointing me in the right direction.

Roblox indeed…
