After having sold my quest 2 for Facebook becoming a tyrant I purcahsed the G2 after so much praise from the community for it. Can I ask what are the recommended configs for the G2 a 2080 Super it served me well in when using the quest?

I have a RTX 2070 super and lower the settings slightly but runs really nice. I was impressed with the latest sim 6 update with g2. Good luck!

Also use Open XR for WMR with MSFS 2020.
vrflightsimguy on youtube has some really good tips on G2 setup. I think he’s about to release one that will address post SU6 G2 setup.
My tip; Start Low with settings and work your way up, don’t start on Ultra/High as you’re only setting yourself up for disappointment when the FPS tanks!
Also don’t rush the settings changes, spend a bit of time and gradually increase them to suit your style of flying and the requirements you desire.
