I’ve dropped from 40 to 60 in 4k (3840x2160) to 18 and 24! Mods include the A320 FBW, which has never given me problems before, and a hometown do-over mod (tiny in size) and that’s it. Dropping the resolution down to 1080p gives me everything from 17 to 30 frames. OK what gives? The mod is up to date, as are all my drivers and W10. PC specs are a RTX 2070 Super, i7-10700, 32G Ram. Something somewhere is not right at all.

Well none of that is good news. Looks like I’m turning it off again until the next patch. It never rains (Ha quite literally with all those clear skies) but it pours.
My brother had an issue with his dropping to single digits and massive stutters since the update just before Christmas. He traced it down to the Longitude improvement package. Something in that is not liking the latest update. Once he removed the Longitude improvement package, his performance returned to normal for all planes. If you have it installed, it’s worth a try!

I have the same issue; around 30fps before, now barely hits 25, usually in the low 20s.

This is actually a popular, well received modification for the Longitude. It just seems that something in the latest update doesn’t play well with it.
Someone mentioned that the plane lights may have an impact on framerate…I have not checked this out yet. You could try turning them off and see if it has an effect…

It’s not just you, there are many others having the same fps issues using the fbw 320 including myself. Frametime are all over the place, remove the ‘mod’ and use the stock 320 and you’ll see very good performance in all areas - cockpit & external views.

Well OK then! I guess I must apologise for all of us with high end/very high end rigs, who have inserted Asobo sanctioned mods, that not only improve the experience but the make the game actually better, because without them certain aircraft, airports, and scenery would look bollocks and fly like ■■■■! I bow to your superior knowledge, insight and reasoning.
Meanwhile, back in the real world…
@GACSavannah, no not used that mod. And judging by posts over on AVSIM, this is happening to a lot of of other people as well. I did remove the two mods from my community folder and re-install the whole game, and it still cranks along at under 30 frames. It’s playable for sure, but its a massive hit on my fps compared to what it was. Clean install included. As I said above, something is not right.
Same here! My RTX 3080 sitting at around 30% usage on the cockpit. I lost about 10-15 fps…

Mine has increased slightly since the last update, i have gained 7-10fps.
