Huge greenhouse near threshold 06 EHAM

Description of the issue:
Actually since the release of MSFS2024, there is a huge greenhouse building a couple hundreds of meters before the threshold of RWY 06 at EHAM, Amsterdam Schiphol, which of course is looking weird.

How often does this occur for you (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)?
Always, it is part of the scenery. The NL also needs a proper photogrammetry update.

REPRODUCTION STEPS

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:

1. Just load up the sim and spawn yourself on the the cargo apron next to RWY 06.
2. Use the drone cam and go to the A4 freeway and follow this road. The building is showing up very soon.

Description of the issue:

Schenkeveld Schiphol, which lies just a few miles to the south of runway 06 at EHAM looks like a giant pyramid, rather than being flat like it’s supposed to be.

Hi, I have noticed in the current SU2 beta (but I suppose also on previous releases) a photogrammetry issue when approaching runway 06 at Asterdam EHAM (around 2-3 Nm from the runway, on the right): there is an elevation issue with a large building (Schenkeveld Schiphol) that in real life is flat, but in the sim is a kind of huge pyramid (see attached screenshots). Please, could you fix? Thanks!

That is not a building. These are the solar panels that created huge problems for pilots, landing on 18R in sunny weather. I can see why it’s difficult for a satellite to make something of this.

Nope, OP is mentioning the greenhouses at Rijssenhout/Schenkeveld on the South approachting RWY 06 of the airport. You’re referencing to the North at Zwanenburg/De Liede at RWY 18R. These might look similar on maps but are totaly different sites.

There is something like that (or was in 2020) on the north west coast of Tenerife too. That one is even bigger (probably 10x longer) and is very strange what it does when it reaches the land.

Hi, after installing SU16 for MSFS2020, i got this issue near Amsterdam. Looks like a solarfield, if i remember correctly, this issue was found in MSFS2024 as well. Any fix for this for 2020?

It’s the same north of woensdrecht airbase, the same big pyramid
