I had very high hopes of a turn around with this (1.9.5) patch, but apparently it’s still a work in progress. Unfortunately the bugs creep into add-ons which can easily outstrip the cost of the sim itself. This is becoming a very frustrating experience for many. If everyone stops buying add-ons because the sim is broken, maybe there will be more pressure from devs as well to stabilize the development of this platform.
I am because the default airports are awful. I will also buy a helicopter when someone makes one that works. Same with anything else, as long as they work.
Just waiting on that Seminole to release.
Hi. Completely agree with your comment. I also expected that many bugs that I reported before the update would be corrected and they were not, they are still present. I am one of those who is waiting for the MFS2020 to have better playability as a simulator in about 1 year, and if so, then invest in utilities and accessories for the MFS2020. Greetings
I’m essentially in the same boat. For the record I’m not a disgruntled customer, far from it in fact, however right now the stock sim needs to get to a better place and then the option of buying addons will be considered. Not that it’s a factor right now as the selection of addons, and the variety of those available is in it’s infancy so there’s little appeal on the Marketplace anyway.
I mean I am also just waiting for the PMDG 777 which will definitely take at least a year from now until released. Until then the sim base is hopefully fixed…
I will just use the time to practice VFR flying and explore the world a bit.
