Same. Worst roll out I’ve ever seen.
Im in the same problem… it loops the download over and over, first 3.68gb and now 59.74… dissapointed with microsoft, they wont even give support for this…
Same here, stuck for 8 hours… Why do we need to come to a Forum the first day the game is out to look for tips and tweeks for our systems so we might be able to fix the issue…???
If we pay TO MICROSOFT!!! We expect quality not this lousy roll out…
I’m Windows 10 build 2004. Also fully updated gfx drivers etc, so i should be good but no.
YR… I just cant believe this, been waiting for this for over years, and if the game was like 20 bucks I will understand but it is not… Im so pissed there is not even a solution for this yet…
At least mine starts up but I’ve been all day trying to figure why i’m getting so much stutter its un-flyable… I’m getting less than 10fps no matter how I set the graphics… I was so impressed with alpha/beta I deleted my other sims and formatted just for this sim…
I did a clean of my hard drive using Ccleaner, then cleared the registry, with Ccleaner also. When I did the install, I made sure the computer didn’t go to sleep during the install. Got up this morning and it’s working perfect…

I had same problem from last night ended up totally uninstalling installed new GPU drivers rebooted and it install with out crashing
I even turned off all network data… still sux…
New nvida drivers out today need them installing for me anyway
Windows 10 Professional
Go to your start Menu…Settings…Apps…Advanced Options…
select Reset…then…Repair
Rerun the program and point the updates folder to where you download.
Worked for some
Without knowing your hardware, Have you tried dropping the resolution down to 1920/1080p. So many people thinking they can get this sim to run in 4k.
Maby pause and unpause. Worked for me!

Funny! I kept on crashing throughout the alpha and beta phase and now…CTD …AND total reStart…now, with the release, I’m just ecstatic…it’s just X-Plane killing marvelous!
So sorry y’all are having trouble…can you be specific with your problems?
