THANK YOU ASOBO for SU5. Before this update, I had terrible FPS everywhere, whether it was in the middle of nowhere or especially in a big city, sometimes it would become unplayable. I remember very well the awful experience of once coming into KATL, a hand built airport, on the FBW A320 and literally getting 1 FPS. It was so bad that it really demotivated me from wanting to fly because flying and especially landing with low FPS is ■■■■ near impossible, even on low settings.

With SU5 I upped my graphical settings to high and loaded the FBW and went straight to the worst of the worst: NY. and guess what, on high settings and with the FBW i had 25 FPS!!! That is insane because before this update I would’ve had less than 1 FPS in the exact same situation.

I recently upgraded my CPU to a Ryzen 5 5600x but my GPU has been an RX570 for quite a few years. I am so incredibly amazed that my old, ■■■■■■ card is able to pull this off all thanks to this update.

I am going to be flying a hell of a lot more now!

anyone else remember fs2 or so, the nine or so wire frame buildings in San Fran which would drop your frames to one. We used to boast if our system could get all the way up to five. This update gives me something of the same feeling of fascination we felt for the first flight sims - geesh, 40 years ago now - man, I’m feeling my age.

Yeah I had to force myself to turn it off tonight. I must have done about 6 hours of flying since I updated.

My download finished about at 02:00 AM. So I didn’t have much time to test it. While making quick test -one eye closed due to sleepiness- I got a constant 40 fps (my fps locked to 40 because my gpu gets hot very easily)
So I assume this update nailed it.
