I have so many downloads from flightsim.to, it will take me months to figure out which one is acting up. It seems like i have multiple addons that cause this ctd when i try to load in at an airport. Im trying to take them out in groups of 5 to place them into temporary folders until i figure out which ones are causing this.
View the event viewer log and search the forum for the fault offset code. It might turn up something, it might not.
turn all the add-ons off (I’m assuming you have Linker). I have most of them off anyway as it used to slow down game loading. If your sim starts after they are all turned off, then start adding in groups. I’ve organized everything by add-on type (aircraft, liveries, scenery, etc). I believe if you clean out your cache and let it restore, you get rid of old software that might be conflicting, even causing CTDs… Yup, it is time consuming, but as I only activate a few mods for a flight, I have much less work. Thanks. I may just keep the temp folders on the desktop and install them to the community folder when i want to use them. I dont know what linker is, but this is probably just like using it, but more time consuming.
Add-ons Linker will take all your addons, I keep them on a separate drive, and link them only when you need them. That’s why I organized things as meticulously as possible. It cut the start up times to minutes rather than almost 30 back in the day…
The start up time hasnt been much of a problem for me. I think the longest i wait is 2 minutes. The way that the community folder just takes every add on without organizing them is horrible though. It doesnt help that every update seems to conflict with at least one add on.
I looked up addon linker. That looks like its gonna help a lot! Thank you! Also, so far ive narrowed it down to definitely being at least one of the free aircraft from flightsim.to
The more out of date the mod, the dicey things get. I had to stop using my CHP livery for the 145 today as it CTDd flight start every time. Linker made it work out fast. My hunch was a scenery, but a livery, go figure. Well, good luck and happy landings - and CTD-free…
It’s not addons It’s the sim itself. I deleted all addons with 0 difference on xbox

Yeah i feel the same way. I wonder if its my rig at times, but its been a roller coaster. Sometimes its running beautifully, and thats usually when they release an update. Of course it should go without saying that every time they release an update, most things break and the frame rate gets cut in half.
