Wish no access to an addon for this on Xbox, I usually change the date to a night with a full moon to get around this…
I feel like the amount of light with a full moon in the sim is more reflective of what a night flight should be like
As someone else said the Night lighting in VR is bad, As is the Sun …Hope this is inproved on a sim update
