I cannot purchase anything from the market place another transaction pending

I have asked for help before but nothing works I still cannot buy anything on marketplace . I am running MFS2020 on my PC downloaded from the store. When I click download and buy or just buy I get the same message Another transaction is pending try later but I have been told there is nothing pending so why is it still showing this . I have done a reset of the APP and anything else I can think of Can someone please get rid of this notice so I can try again

Make sure sim hasn’t switch off online services

I contacted ZEd and nothing has changed everything is as it should be logged off and on both microsoft and the x-box app but still the same

I had the same error message a few months ago so I understand your pain!

Unfortunately the error message is misleading because issues with MSFS, Windows, or Xbox can cause this message to occur. In order to fix this problem, you may have to try different things which is frustrating and time consuming. There is a MSFS Marketplace Purchase FAQ that lists steps to follow depending on your MSFS installation that should eventually fix your problem. It is important to follow the steps in order and do not skip anything.

I skipped one of the steps and it took me about two weeks of backtracking to find and correctly fix the error. It is tempting to reinstall MSFS or Windows. These are a waste of time because the reinstalls don’t work. (One Microsoft - not Asobo - recommendation was to completely format every disk and install everything “fresh” without using backups. This isn’t in the FAQ and I did NOT do this.)

I was having this error message because there were two Windows updates that failed every installation attempt. I discovered that the code used to install Windows updates is used for Marketplace purchases. (Hey, I didn’t design this mess!) When I fixed the Windows updates installation problem, Marketplace purchases started processing normally.

Sort of given up but thought I would check to see if anyone had a solution yet and I have been busy life gets in the way of fun sometimes

Well I did everything according to the list of things to do and I still get this problem Friend in another city is getting the same problem Microsoft’s loss I cannot buy anything from them , its a pain . but thanks for the info and trying

Try disabling your antivirus when making a purchase.

You’ll probably first need to contact Zendesk so they can clear the pending, if one actually exists.

I had to do this and found my antivirus was blocking the transaction pop-up window (where the windows popped up quick and disappeared) where in the past, this never happened.

Finally got it working . I ran the trouble shooter and there was a hanging or crashing app that was not fixed I did a search on ine for the problem and found a solution Redirecting Once it repaired I was fine and able to buy from the market place

Ok April 16/23 now I am unable to buy from the marketplace once again transaction pending .Is Microsoft ever going to fix this problem once and for all Why does this happen in the first place I think Microsoft has way to much control of our devices

When I try to buy any addon it says transaction pending, then it says “failed”

What addon are you trying to buy? Also, have you restarted the sim and your Xbox?

Finally did get to buy something reset xbox app and store app and some other things I found on the web and it worked seems to be an ongoing problem because once again I cannot buy but I will sort it out once again Just wanted to buy some scenery Not a problem Close this thread if you want
