My first landing in a sim, no assists and although it was mostly successful, I couldnt figure out how to actually stop. Turned the throttle all the way off in the cessna 152 and it just kept on going. Using an xbox 1 controller btw.

no idea what the key for the wheel brakes are on a controller but you can look in the settings to find out
Use Y to break.
Hold or just press it?
Hold it. Just beware that if you brake too hard in some single propeller planes, they will actually flip. Try hard braking the XCub and see what I mean

I did that while rolling around the airport out of control after too fast of a touchdown. tailwind caught me and flipped if forward. Only thing missing after the black screen was the dancing pallbearers.
Lol sounds fun. I ran off the runway in the 152 into a river and it just kept on cruising like a boat lmao. Wonder if that would happen irl

In my TQ6+ it happens because you can’t put the engine on idle unless you go below the detent line.
