I deleted MSFS2020 from my computer. I’m done

@CKSURFGIRL, there were a lot of people (especially on this specific forum) complaining about SU3 causing them performance issues, but myself and a lot of other people did not experience those problems. In fact, I’ll go so far as to opine that it was a problem that affected only a tiny minority of people, based on the fact that out of more than 2,000,000 users, even on this board, which is well known for being full of complainers, there were only about 30-40 people complaining about horrible performance, while most of the rest of the users were sitting at home, happily simming away and not present here to complain.

Having said that, while 20-25 fps is not a good experience, 80fps is simply unnecessary (and unnoticeable), as is 40-51, though at least 40-51 will give you headroom to get into denser scenery places. At 80fps (anywhere), you should be able to get into even the most scenery dense places the planet has to offer with no noticeable degradation in performance. Meaning your fps counter may notice a degradation, but your eyes won’t. (Which is why I tell people to turn the fps counters off, and go by what your eyes are telling you.)

But 35+ is typically about the most you need (in 2D) to have not just an acceptable experience, but a good one, in most scenery areas. And I’m certainly curious what you’ve got under the hood where 80fps is even possible, as you’re the first person I’ve seen to make that claim. The most I’ve ever seen is 60-something, and even that was during high altitude cruise over relatively barren territory, or even water.

Finally, if you had a hand in making Gordon’s post disappear, that I’m assuming, but don’t know as I don’t remember it, pointed out the fact that your UserID (CKSURFGIRL) implies a female user, while your Discord ID (Nick01) implies male, information that you voluntarily disclosed, you should not have done that. Most people don’t mind if someone wishes to remain silent on their gender as many, if not most UserIDs are androgynous (though statistically, most users of this board are male), but if you do put it out there, for whatever reason, they want it to be accurate. Yours is misleading at best.
