I dont get any clearence in the first flight mission after pressing the buttons

  1. Description of the issue:
    I can not proceed with the clearence for taxi and also take off in the first mission (first flight) in the career mode. my base is EDFE.

  2. Did you remove all your community mods/add-ons? If yes, are you still experiencing the issue?
    I dont have any installed

  1. I have done the walk around. Removed all covers and chocks. called the passengers.
  2. Started the engine
  3. tried to multiple time to push enter and also the left button on the controller to get the clearence for taxi
  4. i skiped the taxi and tried to get a clearence for take off
  5. nothing happens.

I have the same Issue, first Mission and I can’t request the clearance. In the PPL trainings and exams it worked fine, just now it doesn’t. Funnily enough I have EDFE as my Base aswell, might be a coincidence or maybe that is actually the issue here. I doubt that, but you never know.

Happened to me after landing on another mission. I landed and then had to “Request Taxi to Parking” but whatever happened made that ATC voice command not work and I was stuck.

100% same here on EDFE !

Yup. Can confirm EDFE is bugged, but only in the first mission.

I tried to set the correct frequencies from the EFB in the radio manually, but the ATC window just says ‘not in use’

There is definitely a problem with the airport data or that mission. Funnily enough, it works in other missions that bring me back to / start in EDFE.

Workaround: Just brute force go without clearance. You can still complete the mission, just the rating will be a bit worse.

On a side note, the frequencies used in the mission are not correct. The EFB ones (in the frequencies tab) are true to life and correct though.

I’ve had the same experience aswell. I restarted the carrer in another airport and everything went smoothly. The Mother/Daughter Mission is still there, but I don’t know if that specific mission is bugged, or if its the Airport (at the start of the game at least)

• Same here. ENTER works for accepting boarding. Then, when requesting taxi, ENTER do not do anything. Also (if I skip to takeoff), requesting takeoff clearence (Again, ENTER), does not work.
