I don't have the new update 1.9.5.0 SOLVED!

Hi guys,

The new update seems released, I asked 3 times on the forum but people seems very very busy to help by downloading it, anyways I don’t find it when I launch MFS2020 nor when I go Microsoft Store
is there something wrong on my side then?

Have you tried logging out of XBOX and the Store, then logging back in and re-trying?

For anyone with the Store version, go into the MS Store app on your 'puter and pull up the listing for the version you own to trigger the first small download. You’ll know it’s happening when you pull up the shortcut in your start menu and see the icon darkened with a small progress bar at the bottom. Once that icon is restored, launch the sim and the rest will start.

I just tried but it didn’t work, still the previous version

Thank you for your reply… Usually, I downloaded from the store then I launch MFS2020 but now when I go to the store there is no place where i see a new download… I try to make a short video to show you

I’m seeing the same. No update in the store and MSFS itself checks for updates but doesn’t find anything.

I’m not the only one then! Sorry to be happy to not feeling alone :wink: Never had any issue before in those terms, look like there is nothing I can do… no update in my store, I’ve been able to update other apps so it’s not an issue linked directly to Micrososft store I guess!

At least 1.9.3.0 is still running! I’m happy to wait until it sorts itself out.

Yeap the 1.9.3.0 works nice on my side! So at least… By the way I just noticed that I have some Windows updates in pending which I’m downloading now, it could be the cause, did you check it out on your side?

Good point - I see the same re: Windows updates. Running those now and will try all this again and report back!

Hmm, running the windows updates did not help. Still here on 1.9.3.0.

I might go ahead and raise a zendesk for it. I’m not majorly worried because the sim still seems to run fine, albeit with the known bugs/issues. I just don’t want to end up hideously out of date as Asobo/MS move forward with future patches, plus I’d like the US world update and I’m betting it will require 1.9.5.0

Oh that kills my hope, still updating the second update of windows, this one takes time apparently only 44% so far.
The first one done, I have to reboot:

I’m a little bit worried by reading that users have so many bugs and CTD but causes could be a myriad of variables… But anyway we can’t be outdated! The only doubt I have is about zendesk but we never know if it makes an echo somewhere with a good feedback, anyways we have to find a solution, I can’t figure it out so far, because I didn’t change my settings, I’ll let you know after the updates…

Pull up your version in the Store app. It should say you own it. Let it sit there a minute. Close the app and reopen it. Pull up your version again and, in theory, it should now say it’s updating - at least it did for me. As I said earlier, if that update is running, you won’t be able to launch the sim. The Start Menu icon will be darkened and a white progress bar will show at the bottom of that icon. Once that’s done, launch the sim to get the rest.

@lknfly1 Thanks mate, turned out I needed to ‘reset’ MSFS through the windows 10 settings -> apps menu, after which it is now updating. Fingers crossed it goes smoothly!
