I fly airliners almost exclusively. I run ultra settings in 4K. I changed cockpit refresh rate to low and went from upper 20/30 frames to 40/50 FPS in the cockpit. 60 FPS in external view.
The screens are a bit choppy accept for weather radar, but I’ll pay that price for smooth flight.
Might be worth a try.
