Flying career mode, using the 737 for pax transport. I just give up.
There is just no way to get a better than B grade.
Flight this morning. I activated autopilot at 6000ft. The plane just went to 260knts automagically. Dinged for over 250 under 10000ft.
Then, the ever present “missed atc comms” No. I did not missed any ATC comms. And then the hold short jumping all over the airport and thus “you entered a taxiway without authorization”
Is just too much frustration for just one flight

This is mostly due to the limits are very stricted and the ATC being not so smart…
I can give you a few examples. You want to go at 250kt at FL100. If a gust hit you and you go 250,001kt you recive the penalty.
If you follow ATC instructions, he’ll want you to stay in your cruise flight level until the IAF of the procedure. Meaning you’ll have 10, 20NM to desecend from FL350 to 3000ft.
About taxiways, i had those too. What i do now is fly the simulator not so realistic or following the real procedures. To not being penalized for leaving the runway and entering the taxiway without auth. I simply go slow near the taxiway exit I must take and wait the atc to contact ground, them I stop the aircraft, contact ground, take my taxi auth to gates/parking and just later I stop at the holding short and just taxi to the gate/parking.
Sometimes, i even cancel IFR and contact directly the tower to choose the procedure I want… Avoiding all this headache regarding the ATC instructions. I see that most of the game was made by AI. That’s why some parts looks generic or without proper polish.
