After 13 hours trying to install/download the game I am so tired that I won’t even explain the lot of problems I had, so I’m giving up installing it until they release a patch correcting this critical issues.
Totally disappointed.

I actually went out and bought a hot new 'puter FOR THIS SIM.
started dl’ing at 11pm last night, it’s 9.40pm today and i still have 30gb to go.
my normal speeds are around 200mb, I’m pulling at 20.
pfff. so not happy right now.
i understand you internet some help and i installed, then start to download content and go sleep, wake up, and everything installed, but sim crash after 5-10 minute, change virtual memory to manual, and it gone even faster
I had no issues… My internet MAX Download speed is 150 mbps down… 15 mbps up…
It downloaded fast tbh… maybe it depends on location? I’m on west coast (CALIFORNIA) so idk…
but it only took 3 hours for me max. Sorry for people that are having that issue though i’ve been there ):
If speed is the only issue… be happy!

I feel your pain.
Steam completely failed for me. However, I was able to get a refund and after many unintuitive steps and tips from the forums I got it working from the MSFT Store.
I can relate. I built my PC for this game. I’m through to the other side, and it is amazing. But getting there was harsh indeed. Hopefully it will get better.
