I have got 1.13.16.0 but not seeing new scenery

Hi guys, I must have missed something simple :upside_down_face:

Been looking for new stuff in London & Edinburgh but not seeing anything new
No new bridges at Edinburgh air port

Downloaded the full 23gb or so last night and installed all ok
Nothing in the community folder
Cleared the scenery cache
Disabled and -re-enabled the rolling cache
Created a new cache and downloaded some area’s
All settings on Ultra

Help me please, what have I missed???

You need to find it in the Marketplace and download it, It does not download it automatically. The 23GB was patching and such.

I think the final step is to get it from the Marketplace. Cheers.

You should now be on MSFS 1.13.16.0 not 1.12.13.0 - you sure the update installed correctly?

Thanks for the reply, sorry typo on the header
it should now say “1.13.16.0”
So yes I have downloaded the correct version.

Any ideas?

Frankpilot has already mentioned that you need to go into the marketplace to download all the scenery for UK and Ireland it’s about 4.5 gb
Have you done that?

I think Asobo need to improve the signage and directions for this as you aren’t the only person I’ve seen miss how it works.

Basically any world update thus far (US, Japan, and now UK) has required three downloads - update to the launcher, update to the sim core, and a marketplace download for the specific new region.

I assume they have done it this way to save space for somone who eg isn’t interested in flying in Japan, they can just not download that extra data. It does however make it more prone to user error or misunderstanding like this.

Yes I think Asobo should do better, even if its a simple script with tick the box for the option you want.
