The reason i like the top-10 topic so much is because of the explanations why a certain plane is in their top 10 / hangar.
My list has been relative stable last year and has a bit of all in it. There are no real regret purchases in my hangar and beside the default planes, I fly my payware planes quite frequent without neglecting one.
Its true Iam not mastering them (beside the glider, because i flew them rl), but Iam not a super serious simmer anyway. No VATSIM (anymore), no emergencies (unless i need to go somewhere and close the sim) no shutdown sequences etc. Just starting somewhere cold and dark get the engines going and have some fun.
If I want serious flying, I will start flying for real again.
The only thing missing (as I can think off right now) is a long hauler. But I scheduled the PMDG 747 for that already. Maybe I will try the FBW A380 when i comes out. The only thing is, my flights wont take longer than 2 hour normally so it will be short flights or messing with the time acceleration a bit.
Anyway, even with the hangar not so full i still have the choosing stress, as with dep and arr airports as well. Which indeed results sometimes in staring longer at the worldmap than actually flying.
I guess its all part of the “fun”.
