Hey! i just saw the correct aircraft of another player even tho I’m on Xbox.
I was flying the F18 for the moment and all of a sudden a Typhoon showed up. I just recently upgraded from series S to X but still i have never been able to see the correct aircraft of other players unless they are flying the same as me. I do own the CJ simulations typhoon but it has not made any difference before. If not both are flying it you only see that generic abomination.
Should one get hopes that a fix is on the way or why was i able to see it all of a sudden?

I believe to see other addon aircraft, both players must have the exact mod and liveries installed. Those
mods must also include the multiplayer version of the aircraft/liveries. So if someone else is flying the same developer Typhoon for example, but with a livery they don’t have, it will show a generic.
Also in Options>General Options>Traffic> Use Generic Aircraft Models(multiplayer) must be OFF, and Traffic Variety must be Ultra (not 100% sure on this part, but probably so, as it would restrict the available liveries if set below this)
On Xbox, it’s really hit or miss. And even PC is not %100.
PC does have an option to disable generic planes, and some control over the variety of aircraft that shows up. But there are no such options on the Xbox. To improve the chances to see the correct aircraft on the Xbox you must own and have installed the same aircraft. You also must own and have installed the same livery, from the same developer.

I know they are both dc products so maybe that helped as I know they are putting a lot of work into this issue, but it’s never happened for me before unless I was in someone’s group/game
