Just an idea I think it would also be great to add under each flight plan a comment section were we can write some feedback? I have no idea if this is possible and if it’s complicate to do it!
One question, the flightplans you have done are based on custom waypoints using google maps or bing? Or are they official routes given by a flight plan website / software?
If people start using it I definitely will add ratings, but I wanted to see if there was community interest before spending more time on it. I’d also like to add a star count for each flight plan and allow people to sort by number of stars or downloads to help find the most popular things. It would also be cool to give contributors a score based on the number of stars or ratings of their submitted flight plans.
Right now my goal is “Get someone other than me to submit something,” so we’ll make improvements if people start contributing.

They’re all either custom waypoints from Google Maps / Bing Maps or just from the in-game flight plan editor.
I’d like to add ratings and comments if we can get some community participation. I didn’t want to invest too much time right at the beginning in case there wasn’t any community interest in something like this.

there is an issue when uploading the screenshots. I was trying to upload my cover photo (12.5MB) but was not possible. I then tried to downsized to 2.91 MB and is not uploading i.e. " image xx failed to upload".
can you have a look at it?

@FelipeTurbay Can you post that image for me to take a look at? I think there’s a 10MB limit, but if you compressed it to 3MB it should have gone.

I just uploaded a short (20+/- mins.) flight plan that transits four fields with the same name; Chignik.
It’s more of a landing challenge (at least for me) than a sightseeing tour. But I think people will enjoy it.
Thanks for making the site. Hopefully many people will post their flight plans.

Landing challenges like this are great as well! Maybe we can make a new category for things like challenges if people are interested in that.

@Jummivana if you and the people involved don’t mind, I would suggest to add the Community Fly-In plans to the site since they were really great scenery-wise!
I think this site would be a great place for people to share flight plans for community events in general. I hope it gets used for that purpose.

I have joined your group. I think it’s great. I tried to upload a 3k plan today and I got a message that there is a 2K size limit. However, I’ve been able to download files that are larger than 3k. User name: GVFAJF9
