I Might Be the Only Person Who Hadn’t Realized This

Render Scaling is another way of changing your resolution.

So I can run at native resolution (makes planes and menus look great, along with edges and stuff) while rendering at around 1080p which is my system’s sweet spot. Many of these graphics effects have minimal impact when applied to your native resolution and serve to sharpen the 1080p rendering further.

Definitely a visual upgrade with negligible performance impact.

I thought I understood render scaling (and I almost did) but wasn’t using it correctly.

When you have a mid spec rig, it can be difficult to find the performance sweet spot, but once in a while you can strike gold.

Really remarkable what you can get from a mid grade machine with this sim if you take your time and keep optimizing.

My graphics look significantly better today!
