Actually, using the A320 Custom Flyby Wire mod, the latest version seems to have most of the navigational kinks worked out and works well in the sim.
It doesn’t hiccup over the transition to the STAR, holds ILS fine etc.
You don’t have to wait a year if you don’t want to!
