Do they? I don’t. I’ve never spent any time in drone camera, as there was no call for me to. Are the controls for it WASD? Cuz if the first time I had to to a walkaround of my airplane my controls weren’t WASD, I’da been like, “wtf?” (I wouldn’t have come to the forums and cried about it, I’d have just learned what the controls were, but … still.)

Okay, but that’s almost all the same. That said, just based on a little poking around, I don’t see any major conflicts that would have precluded the drone controls from remaining entirely the same, so I don’t really understand why they’d change it. That THAT said, personally, Q & E seem to make more sense than F & R for translating up & down, so maybe that’s why they changed it? Though, THAT THAT said, now the more that I think about it, while Q & E is a little more compact, F & R are maybe more natural since one is above the other? I dunno. I’ve been playing games with a Nostromo for my left hand for as long as they’ve been available, so I just take a bit and map it out how I want whenever I start a new game.
Beyond the terrible terrible struggle of having to relearn a few keys, I guess my question is, “Why are you controlling the drone with the keyboard anyways?”
Imagine do that for EVERY airplane I have. Nightmare. Also the sensitivities have to be recalibrated for every one. They should just transport the msfs2020 present config into msfs2024, at leas for the key and buttons biding.
Oh, and the cockpit camera system is the as bad as before.
