This plane is amazing.
How close did that ‘rope’ come to getting tangled in the prop after starting …that could have been messy! 
how it works in fs 2024?
I heard stories of DC-3/C-47’s being started this way. To be honest I was not sure I believed them. Now I know it is a thing.

I’ve seen it done with a Scottish Aviation Twin Pioneer. I looked for but could not find any photographic or video evidence, but would you film something that could be used against you at a court martial?
Yepp, the inertial starter is modelled. Works nicely.
