On long flights, it can also have another reasons that I read about : data corruptions in the flight instruments can lead to certain crashes of the sim… That happened a lot when the sim was 1st released fresh and very very early on instruments systems/ code. Using well modded planes can prevent that btw !
I intend to try that challenge (Bordeaux to Seattle) in the modded A330, empty it is capable of that flight… I still have to get more informations on its stability on the long runs !
