The whole concept of MSFS depends on internet connection to the servers. The 22 disks is just the core of the sim. Asobo originally said the world database was something like 3.5 petabytes… and I guess growing with each new world expansion.
That’s several hundred thousand DVDs if you want the same world the rest of us are enjoying
