I XP Force still in business?

I use XP Force in MSFS and it does work on my Microsoft FF2 joystick. I noticed though, that my license needs to be updated in order to receive the updates to the product. When I go to their website, it is not coming up, nor are the contacts, or the FAQ’s. It seems they are not available.
Please let me know the status of this force feedback program…which is the only one available for MSFS.

Bear in mind, updates are only free from them for a year, you need to pay for the updates after that.

If only there WERE updates. I think the developer has ghosted his own product. There was a flicker of contact a few months ago but silence again.

Correct. I know about the one year deal. However, I was trying to PAY for a license extension so that I could continue with the updates. That’s the problem; developer is AWOL.

There are no updates to be had, so what exactly do you wish to pay for (again)?

When starting MSFS with XPForce, an update screen comes up that says the free period is over, so I assumed there were update to be had.

Sadly no, wish there was.
I bought the app on 7th November 2022 so maybe I will get this notification in a week?

Either way, there has been zero reply to my many attempts to get a conversation going with him and therefore zero chance of any changes to it. It is what it is now and that’s all we have got. Don’t pay again, please…

I hope there is some kind of resurgence of interest in FFB gear for Flight Sims so someone else picks up the mantle and makes something really good that works one day. Think the only options now are the proprietary super expensive stick and yokes that have their own software. XPF is better than nothing but deep down I know the hardware could feel a lot better with some better software running it.

You’ve hit the nail on the head. I, too, wish some developer would pick up the mantle and do something for us lovers of FFB. For me, it’s the only way to fly.

I would second the above comments and wonder if now is a good time to start banging the drum for FS2024. It is a Chicken and egg scenario, but Asobo badly lost the plot with 2020 and so, starting from the bottom again, the only way can be “Up”

Lets hope that some enterprising manufacturer can start talking sense to Asobo or even Microsoft, for their own benefit and ours too.
