If you take a look at his program, I believe he only changes/replaces menu/responses that affect ATC.
Any other new or added lines, which are not ATC, are left as is.

Also, are you re-running the program after an update? Updates will probably overwrite the changed file back to itās original state.

The MOD only changes the lines applicable to ATC in the original file when you run it. Thats why you need to rerun it after every update from Asobo.
In the Google drive I manually upload the original and modified file after every update. (SU8 is not there yet, Iām flying now and donāt have my laptop with me).

So, what you try to explain is that we donāt need to download a new version, we must just re-apply your installation batch and a new file will be constructed (merged) with your modifications and the new original file. But for now, the new SU8 file isnāt available because you are flying.
Yes so donāt use the link in the installer (you will see current version isnāt there, although probably the same as SU8-beta though). I added that link because the installer doesnāt work for some people and I donāt know why. The installer only adjusts the lines applicable for ATC and leaves the rest alone. Obviously if Asobo makes changes to ATC I have to update the installer and release a new version but so far nothing has changed.
In fact, your installer use the file installed in MSFS, search in side all lines to be modified and do the job. Correct ?

This is the file I useā¦the alternate method. In all honesty, I prefer that file and prefer not to use the power shell method.
Iām very glad you have both methods available.
However, I might add that since I use the FAA phrases, I change RADAR back to CENTER, RNP back to RNAV, and add back in the pronunciation phrase just after RNAV.

Iām done tweaking for now, I released a new version yesterday. If anyone finds any bugs or has any suggestions, drop it below.
So most important changes:
- Loads of small and big tweaks and fixes throughout the system.
- Customization options added to change certain regional phrases:
- Ability to change āFlight Information Serviceā into āBasicā or āDeconflictionā for those in the UK.
- Option to change āRadarā into āControlā or āCenterā as required.
- Customize pilot / controller handoff message āGood dayā to your liking.
- Possibility to change north / east / south / west VFR departure into VFR departure routes (for example āAlpha departure"). Useful when often flying between the same VFR airports.
- I changed the missed approach phraseology, not 100% realistic but I think its the best trade-off.
- I removed the phrase ādirectā when checking in with radar as often the active waypoint is omitted.
Note: those customization options are not available when installing manually obviously.
There are two bugs I spend most of yesterday trying to solve but given up on for now. Those are:
- Sometimes the change to tower when on an instrument approach is a bit weird with a missing point and another point at a strange place (mostly cosmetic).
- I noticed that when parked and asking for taxi to another parking spot you arenāt able to readback the clearance. Normal operations (taxi for take-off and taxi after landing) works fine.
I also updated the example transcripts and replaced the old demonstration flight video.

Do you leave your computer running for long periods of time inbetween restarts? What is your current uptime?
Open a command prompt, and run:
net statistics workstation
It should show a line near the top that reads āStatistics sinceā, and the day/time the system was last started.
Well, my computer was already turned off since this. From a fresh restart after work today it worked just fine, so I guess you were right. It would have been on maybe 12 hrs maximum when I first tried, but this did involve an MSFS session.

Hi - I installed the UK Phraseology mod on my PC using the .bat file. The install worked and the mod was working fine, but I noticed that the GNS530 mod that I had installed previously stopped working. I uninstalled the UK Phraseology mod by restoring the backup and the GNS530 mod started to work again. This is a pity, as I find the MSFS ATC completely useless. I was recently n the final stages of an ILS approach to Farnborough in a C172 and was told to climb to 15000 feetā¦
Any ideas of what is causing this conflict with the GNS530 mod?
I have no idea, I would suspect its a coincidence. So far any ābugsā reported mostly have been coincidences or caused by something else so make sure absolutely everything else is the same when testing. I really donāt think the GNS mod uses anything from the locPak file.
